So people, this post will be a review about the charity event that we held at Panti Asuhan dan Pondok Pesantren Al Haniifiyyah, Jatiluhur, Bekasi Selatan on August 22, 2011. By the way, "we" here refers to me, Hanny Rufaida and Cantik Mudia Ramadian as the organizing manager and also those of you who helped us along the way to make this event succeeded.
For Mahesa Matin Antasya, thanks for the transportation help and also for helping me having all the gift wrapped. And to family and fellas who helped us by donating some of your cash, or your old clothes and accessories or prayers of good luck. Thank you so much. Your help meant a lot.
The total amount of cash donation we received was Rp1.430.000. This total amount exceeded our previous target of only Rp1.000.000. The usage of the cash was to buy gifts that are given to the orphan kids:
A gift contained of books, pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, milk, and some snacks.
80 gifts were packed.
Packs of gifts, clothes, cups of pudding, quiz presents, and cakes.
Besides gifts, we also spent them to buy some special gifts. Oh by the way, we managed to have some quizes and games for the kids and that's why we spent some cash to buy some special gifts (books, muslim cap, pashmina, sarong and muslimah prayer cloth). These are the winner kids of the quiz:
Also, besides all those, we donate some of the cash as shodaqoh to the orphanage. :)

Perumpamaan (nafkah yang dikeluarkan oleh) orang-orang yang menafkahkan hartanya di jalan Allah adalah serupa dengan sebutir benih yang menumbuhkan tujuh bulir, pada tiap-tiap bulir seratus biji. Allah melipatgandakan (ganjaran) bagi siapa yang Dia kehendaki. Dan Allah Mahaluas (karunia-Nya) lagi Mahamengetahui." (QS. Al Baqarah: 261)
Maka nafkahkanlah sebagian harta yang sangat engkau cintai di jalan Allah :)
