London Grammar - Strong

LONDON GRAMMAR - STRONG
(lyric video)

One Day,
I'll be sitting on the front-left side of a car, looking at the city lights and everything goes on with it and everything that's on the road, through the window, while I listen to this song.

Neurons in my head are gonna take me back to some old memories, to some places where all things happened, at some points where I had been--I could never forget. They're gonna throw me back to that first meetings of me and him or me and him or me and him, and everything that came after it; all the sweetest things, all the sweetest nights; all the hurts, all the break-ups, and all the cries. They're also gonna put me back to where I was so damn down, to where I was at my lowest point when "we" was no longer existed.

The road, the lights, the cars, and the trees that I'm seeing through the car's window on that One Day, will show me those moments as if I'm watching live opera. Yes, a live opera. Starring: me. And him, and him, and him--in sequence. A live opera, audience: me. I'm gonna watch the opera until the song fades away.

And I'm gonna sigh at it, at first.

Yea I'm sure I'm gonna sigh of every memory playing over and over and over again.

But on that One Day, when I listen to this song while memories taking me back to some moments of my life, there's gonna be a chosen lucky man sitting next to me, on the right side of the car, driving. And I'm gonna smile at him.

I'm gonna smile at him, and at everything I've paid to get to him. He'll know how strong I have been, he'll know how loud I have spoken, and he'll understand how wrong I have been for having doubt that I might not be in love again after all the hurts.

I'm gonna be in love with him--and so is he. We'll pass the road together, we both will see moonlight underneath the dark sky, we will smile at every thing in our past, and perhaps we'll thank each of them who brought us to that One Day. And yes, we'll go to the same destination by the same road we choose.

On that One Day.

Till that One Day, I just gotta be strong.

Oh-So-Me Songs

Michael Buble - Haven't Met You Yet

there are songs that are really got into some people's life stories.
just like his song above, Haven't Met You Yet.
or perhaps this song below, I Knew I Loved You.
though being in love would be a little too fast to judge.
yea I really think you and I should really meet up someday.
you shouldn't be mind about it.
afterall, we've been really good.
;)

Random Dance

Hold me we're dancing in the dark of the night
You're shining like a neon light
I light you up, when I get inside
So won't you touch me? cause everybody's watching us now
We're putting on a show for the crowd
So turn it up baby make it loud

Maroon 5 - Doin' Dirt

Menari random. Poninya kelempar sana-sini. Pundak, pinggul, kepala ikut bergoyang random. Sok-sokan jadi yang paling jago shufflin. Melompat-lompat. Menghentak kaki.

I like to lose myself into some songs.

I need to refresh.

"Lu ngga clubbing aja, fan? Kemang gitu. Sebelah kampus lu aja tempat clubbing tuh."
Kali deeeeehh gue lepas jilbab gue cuma buat kesitu doang. EMOH.

I really do love music. And dance to the music. Perhaps it's already been on my blood.

On my waist, through my hair
Think about it when you touch me there
Close my eyes, here you are
All alone dancing in the dark
Tell me baby if it's wrong
To let my hands do what they want
Late at night I pretend we are
Dance, dance, da-dance dancing in the dark

Everyday I'm Shufflin~

Why waste money on psychotherapy when you can listen to the B Minor Mass?
Anonymous

Lo tau kan, lagunya David Guetta yang berjudul Night of Your Life (feat Jennifer Hudson)?

"...lagu-lagu kayak gini..."

Oke, gue memang berjilbab and that already been more than a year I'm turning hijjabed. But that doesn't seem to change the way I like music. I listen to every music on the radio, I listen to every music everywhere I can find it. I listen to pop, I listen to rock. I dance the beats. I know jazz, bossanova, swing, country, soul, rhythm and blues, ballads, rap, metal and scream (even sometimes I just can't get the meaning of the scream) and other kinds of music.

Gue suka. I listen to Air Supply, The Beatles, Bee Gees, Phil Collins, Firehouse, Mr Big, Bad English, Bon Jovi, Daniel Sahuleka, Sting and other. Gue tau Broery Marantika, Yuni Sara jaman dulu, Koes Plus, Chrisye (my all time favourite) atau lainnya. Bahkan gue ngerti house music tahun bokap nyokap gue masih muda dulu. Musik koplo pun gue tau.

Jadi kenapaaaaa kalo gue suka David Guetta? Just like my close friend said '...cos basically we love music". Come on, the world is wide, man! If it doesn't fit your mind then you gotta widen it a bit.

Kalo ngomongin musik Indonesia, gue sangat sangat sangat pemilih. Alasannya bukan karena gue ngga menghargai musikalitas mereka dan keterampilan mereka main musik, bukan. Tapi pernah, waktu itu gue lagi denger satu lagu di radio, pas denger intronya, gue langsung volume up radio gue, ambil napas, dan siap menyanyikan 'well when you go~ don't even think I'll make you turn to stay~' milik My Chemical Romance. Dan barusan hari ini, dimana gue udah mau nyanyi 'in my place~ in my place~' eeh taunya itu punya band A*mada yang menjiplak intronya Coldplay! And I was like shocked, mouth opened like WHAT?!

I listen to every music. But I choose which music I love. Don't doubt my music, dude, because they're cool just like me ;)

Udah lumayan lama sih, jaman awal SMA. Coba deh denger dulu, baru komentar :)

Maybe Tomorrow - Stereophonics

Been the upperside of down
Been the inside of out
But we breathe

Maroon 5: My All Time Favourite

when it gets cold outside and ya got nobody to love
you'll understand what I mean when I say there's no way we're gonna give up
and like a little girl cries in the face of a monster that lives in her dreams
is there anyone out there cos it's getting harder and harder to breathe
Maroon 5 - Harder to Breathe

It was the very first song I like from Maroon 5, not to mention that their first single of Songs About Jane was This Love, not Harder to Breathe. It's not that I didn't like This Love, but Harder to Breathe made me so in love with Maroon 5!

The first time I ever recognized the band was on MTV. They played the music video of Maroon 5's first single, This Love. But that didn't make me fall for the band, though. Until a friend of mine, Gilang, borrowed me his Songs About Jane (Maroon 5 first album) cassette for me to listen and Harder to Breathe was the very first on the Side A list, and the first song made me a fan of Maroon 5!

There are some songs I favourited in this album, they are: Harder to Breathe, She will be Loved, Shiver, Tangled, The Sun, Must Get Out, Secret, Through with You, Not Coming Home, Rag Doll, Sweetest Goodbye and Sunday Morning. Oh did I just list everything but This Love? Obviously, yes, I'm so in LOVE with all the songs. Not that I don't like This Love, but the other songs have more power for me to love 'em.

Talking about their albums, the second album they composed was It Won't be Soon before Long with Makes Me Wonder as their first single. In this album, the former drummer, Ryan Dusick left the band because of an injury and got Matt Flynn to replace him. If you ever listened to their albums, from Songs About Jane to this, you'll find lots of changes (well, for me, I did) in their music. Songs About Jane was more like blues, jazz, pop rock while in It Won't be Soon before Long, they put some up beats (and so did they put for some songs in their next album, Hands All Over) but that didn't make them uncool. They're still, and always be a cool and magnificent band! By this, they actually prove they can do all kinds of music.

My favourite songs in their second albums are: Won't Go Home Without You, Nothing Last Forever, Kiwi, Back at Your Door, Goodnight Goodnight, Better that We Break, and Infatuation.

So next, Hands All Over. Still the same form with Matt Flynn, but with one additional keyboardist, PJ Morton. Try to listen to these: Give a Little More, Just a Feeling, No Curtain Call, Hands All Over, Get Back in My Life and Never Gonna Leave This Bed. They're the most awesome!

Besides all those, they also perform some singles with other artists like Moves Like Jagger with Christina Aguilera, Out of Goodbyes with Lady Antebellum, If I Never See Your Face Again featuring Rihanna, and the vocalist perform Stereo Hearts with Gym Class Heroes. They also have Woman, original soundtrack of Spiderman 2 (a very easy listening song, Woman) and perform an original sound track for The Hunger Games titled Come Away to the Water. And oh, they also have another album, the remix one.

Na-ah, they talent in the world of music don't stop there. They'll be publishing a new album titled Overexposed with this latest single: Payphone. Listen, and you'll be amazed of their work! And indeed, their work is amazing for winning some awards and get nominated!

So now, after the leaving of Ryan Dusick, I heard that Jesse Carmichael will also leave the band and gonna be replaced by PJ Morton. I was like, WHAT? Who the hell PJ Morton is anyway??? He's only the additional keyboardist and why on earth would Jesse leave the band??? Pfftttt!!!

Still with Ryan Dusick

Now with Matt Flynn

No, I won't post them with the new formation of PJ Morton here.
Naaahh.
